i'm not yet sure what this page is gonna be - a blog? a journal? (though I'm still not completely sure the difference between the two). i'm not sure what theme i want to make it, i'm not sure what exactly i'm gonna put on it. i guess i'll find out as i go.

some facts about myself:

• i'm a star trek fan - my favorite series is DS9
• my favorite TV show is M*A*S*H
• i'm very much interested in sociolinguistics and dialectology (specifically, american regional english dialects and linguistic folk-perception) and folklore/culture.

this page is a haphazard mush of my own messy, questionable, strangely formatted html. if you see anything out of wack, please do tell me. yes i'm aware it looks weird on mobile, i'm working on it lol.
