what is this site????
like i said, this place is basically my evil lair where i do whatever i want, but it's also kind of my art project/experiment/digital garden/personal corner of the web.
some other things:
- i've rewritten this page about a million times, i really don't know if i'll ever be satisfied with it
- i keep changing my mind on whether i want all the text on this site to be properly capitalized, or in all lowercase, soo inevitably some of it is one way and some of it is the other. so much for a consistant aesthetic lol
- this site is living (just like a real garden.. get it?). this means that it's always growing and changing. i'm always adding pages and moving stuff around :-)
- this site is made on windows. however, despite the implication of the notepad++ button featured on the homepage that I use that program often.. those who have seen my neocities profile page, you know the truth. the truth is that 90% of time i just edit this site in the neocities code editor like a lazy bum.. (i do not recommend this method, by the way)
who is the webmaster????
my name is lynn! i taught myself HTML and coded this site myself. i like to make things (drawing, art) and collect things (links, images, junk.. in a "collecting junk i think is cool" kinda way but also a "making lists/curating information" way), so making a website was sort of a natural thing to come out of that, i think.
i also made this site because I think the old web is really cool!! i love the idea of the web as a medium for people to create things on, and i wish that spirit of creativity was as mainstream on the web today as it was in the 90s-2000s. so, this site is also my own endeavor to help the web be a bit more colorful again.
